Content Submission Terms

What You Can Submit

Photos, video, or a written story related to a game, event, athlete, team, or program in the Midlands. Along with your submission, we’ll ask for:

• Your name, email, and phone number
• The athlete’s name, school or organization, and sport
• The event date and a short description
• A file upload or a link to your content
• Whether you’re the original creator, and your permission status if you’re not
• Parent or guardian confirmation if the content involves a minor
• Social handles you’d like credited
• Disclosure of any copyrighted music used in video submissions

Ownership and Permission

You must own the content you submit, or have permission from the person who does, before submitting it. By submitting content, you confirm this is the case.

How Submissions Are Reviewed

Not every submission is published. Blue Marble reviews submitted material and may publish it when we have permission and determine the content is clear, relevant, newsworthy, and appropriate for our coverage. Submitting content does not guarantee it will be posted, and no compensation is provided for submitted material.

Credit

Submitted material is credited when required or appropriate, using the social handles or name provided at submission.

Your Authorization

By submitting content, you authorize Blue Marble Media Group to review, edit, publish, and distribute it — without a guarantee of posting or compensation. This authorization covers editing, reposting, captioning, and distributing the content across Blue Marble’s channels.

Minors

If the content involves a minor, parent or guardian confirmation is required as part of the submission.
